I did some cooking!
Anybody who knows me will say that this is rare. And what’s even rarer is that I added ingredients which weren’t necessary so it wouldn’t be as boring!
I finally dragged myself to Lidl tonight and forked out…. FIFTY EUROS on proper food. Steak, chicken, turkey, veggies, eggs etc etc (and a couple of bottle of organic red wine, as this is allowed) and made the above dinner.
- Mixed vegetables (courgette, red pepper, yellow tomatoes, mushrooms) lightly fried in olive oil
- Rump teak with coarse pepper cooked in the same pan as the veg to share the flavours around
- Brown beans mashed with balsamic vinegar, lemon juice and a wee bit of branston pickle to taste
And it tasted…… great. Only slow carbs, high protein, good fats.
Huzzah! What a yummy diet 🙂
